Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon LONG HAUL Review

ROTF Long haul is the fourth constructicon toy released in the recently concluded TF Megamnia event in SM Megamall. He's packaged as a voyager class figure in robot mode and transforms into a dump truck as his terrestrial mode. According to his bio, he's one of the most powerful and frighting decepticons of all time but under estimated by his fellow constructicons in the squad.









Sculpt

In alternate mode, he measures 15 cm in length and 9 cm in width. To conceal his true cybertronian identity, he transforms into a green earth moving caterpillar dump truck with a working bed that looks real unlike his G1 counterpart. The monster truck has a authentic detail and design and the dumping tray is well-articulated. He has dual rear black wheels which allows him to roll more easily.

 

In robot mode, he transforms into an approximately 17 cm voyager robot and looks very intimidating. Like his 1984 toy, he's green with blue green paneling above the head with red eyes. The mech alive is defined in the black moving piston at the arms and turning his head rotates his internal black gear. The transparent blades unveil upon pushing the panel that houses the weapon.

Articulation

ROTF Long haul is double jointed on shoulders and knees. The mech alive on both arms give him the freedom of movement and make him an imposing robot. The hands are fixed in one place and does not allowed him to hold anything. The truck bed and rear wheels over his head and on his back limit him to do more poses. But overall, he's the best among the constructicon brothers in both modes.

 

FUN FACTOR

Despite of the minor flaws, the playability of the toy is extremely good.
